Must Love Music is for people who LOVE music and secretly (or not so secretly) yearn for the ability to just sit down at a piano and play with confidence.
Whether that is written songs, songs they are listening to or exploring new styles, they get tools they need to develop a lifelong love of music.
A quick peek into lessons
Students will not just be at the piano playing songs. We will be moving, singing, actively listening and experimenting.
Students will be asked questions to guide their learning so they can have a deeper understanding of concepts.
And, students do all of this in their own homes through ONLINE LESSONS.

Must Love Music specializes in teaching children differently.
Preschool & Kindergarten
Many parents worry that their child may not have the attention span necessary for piano lessons. That is not a worry at Must Love Music!
Students as young as 3-years old have the chance to explore in a hands-on manner each & every class. Ms. Rosemarie works closely with parents to ensure everything is ready to go for an engaging lesson.
Little ones have the opportunity to move often and use play as a means of learning.
Get ready for a lot of laughs and your child saying, “I HAVE to show you this!”
Special Needs Students
Your child is unique and that is celebrated in our studio!
My background in special needs education has greatly influenced my philosophy of teaching.
SLP’s, growth plans, and educational psychology evaluations are all things that I have been a part of in the past.
I will work with your family and your child’s team to best support his or her learning.
Elementary
Your child wants to have a say in their learning. And, that is a good thing!
Between choosing his or her own music, lab time (who can resist apps), and fun warm-ups, your child won’t even realize he or she is doing a lot of learning both in and out of lessons!
Teens
Many of the teen students in Must Love Music are part of other extra-curricular activities. This gives them a diverse range of activities each week.
But, it can also lead to your teen feeling like there is too much to do and not enough time.
For students who have previous piano lesson experience, Must Love Music offers flipped programming. Practice happens DURING lessons. Rather than mandatory practice during the week.
Progress will be slower, but it allows students who want to still take piano lessons to stay. Rather than ending an activity, they love.

While both exams and festivals can be wonderful learning opportunities, they are not the main focus at Must Love Music.
If you are looking for programming that is based on yearly exams or multiple annual festivals, there are other wonderful teachers in both online & locally that have this focus.
