Ages 4 - 11 Piano Programs

Does your child have the wiggles, love to socialize or prefer to watch carefully before trying something new?  With this in mind, interactive, weekly piano lessons focus on the first steps to becoming a lifelong piano player.  Your kids will love exploring music and making new friends!

Because your child is growing so quick, they will be grouped based on age and level.

  • “Piano Rookies” is for younger beginners to actively explore, play and create music in a variety of ways.
  • “Piano 101” is for older beginners to learn the foundations of music so they quickly learn their favourite songs.
  • Both beginner programs nurture creativity, active listening and an inquisitive mind within a musical environment.
  • “Immersive Piano” is a collaborative class for those ready to play at an intermediate level.  Students learn from many types of musical notation and begin to use a range of accompaniment patterns.
  • Active learning for beginners: Movement, active listening and fun activities build skills for current or upcoming music.
  • Collaboration: Learning together is more fun than being stuck on your own.
  • Learning music: Play by ear and with sheet music.
  • Songwriting:  Jamming to a backing track and creating music.
  • All current group piano lesson tuition rates and other fees are on our FAQ page.  In addition, you have the option to pay annually, semester or monthly.
  • Tuition includes music, recordings, tutorial videos and activity materials.
  • Starting lessons after our September start date?  No worries!   Tuition is prorated for students who join later.
  • More Fun: Your child will be inspired and learn from both their teacher and peers.
  • Independence: Your child will learn to think for themselves musically.  They play music with others and can start to pick up new songs on their own after several months of lessons.
  • Relevant: Band, orchestras, playing music with friends are all done in groups.  Group lessons mimic this.
  • Efficient And Fun Learning: Go beyond the music with activities that promote deep, long-term learning.  No music theory worksheets here!
  • Small groups:  Unlike a classroom, no more than 5 students per group means your child’s teacher gets to know them and how to best support them.
”I love everything! They (my kids) have come so far in just months and all of this because they go the right teacher.”

“We appreciate immensely the 'learn at your own pace' style. There are no 'deadlines' and unrealistic goals for the kids. Everyone learns at their own pace; there are no 'behinds' or comparisons to 'other pianists your age' there is simply enjoyment of playing piano in the now and gaining skills at a pace that boosts each child's confidence in themselves. The amount of praise and encouragement and the patience Rosemarie showers my children with has an immense positive impact on their mental health.”

”As an older (70’s) ‘beginner learner’ of piano I couldn’t ask for a kinder, better educator than Rosemarie. She has provided me with both motivation and music knowledge. Plus, it has been fun to learn in a such a supportive environment! ”

What People Are Saying

“I really enjoyed hearing Brayanna play more complex pieces and seeing the sense of accomplishment she got from playing them.”
“She knows our kids aren’t made with cookie cutters and there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach. As a neurodiverse family we appreciate that more than words can say.”
“I didn’t expect it to be as much fun and comfortable to do ‘online’ [piano lessons] and with a refreshing style of teaching/learning. You were very supportive, flexible, and helpful - able to adapt to my level of experience.”
