“Daydreams and Doodles” brings a playful, wistful mood to the intermediate level.  Perfect for the piano player who loves getting lost in a daydream at the keys. This piece highlights basic polyphony (single note played over held note) and hand-over-hand arpeggios at the end.  These are two skills that build lovely finger independence.

“Daydreams and Doodles” explores dotted eighth to sixteenth note rhythms.  The scale-like passages move seamlessly across the keyboard, using under and over fingering along the way. 

Reaching up to four ledger lines, this piece pairs seventh chords played between the hands with a D.C. al Coda structure and an unexpected fermata which gives piano players plenty of room to breathe before the closing hand-over-hand arpeggios.
